To ensure volunteers feel valued, supported, and safe while contributing to our mission.

2. Scope: 

Applies to all volunteers at Lighthouse Dementia Support.

3. Key Principles:

• Volunteers are not substitutes for paid staff.
• All volunteers will receive induction, training, and ongoing support.
• We are committed to equal opportunities and safeguarding.

4. Volunteer Roles:

• Workshop support
• Peer group facilitation
• Admin and outreach

5. Support & Supervision:

• Regular check-ins with Volunteer Coordinator
• Access to training and wellbeing resources

6. Safeguarding & Conduct:

• Volunteers must follow our Safeguarding and Confidentiality policies.
• Any concerns should be reported to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
